We need to strengthen our democracies and civil societies and we cannot do that without bildung, more bildung, and better bildung.
For the first time ever, educators, folkbildare, pedagogues, researchers, artists, librarians, and citizens across the Nordics, anybody who cares about democracy and is interested in bildung and education can unite in a Nordic Bildung Week: Nordisk Sivistys Vika. And we would like to reach all age groups.
Nordisk Sivistys Vika / Nordic Bildung Week will always be Week 41; in 2026, that will be October 3-11.

Det ska vara enkelt att vara lokal arrangör, det ska vara roligt att vara lokal arrangör, och det behöver inte kosta en förmögenhet. Vi vill att hela Norden ska vara med i ett gemensamt samtal om bildning, och den 4-6 mars börjar vi planeringen.
Paikallisen tapahtuman järjestämisen tulisi olla helppoa ja hauskaa, eikä sen tarvitse maksaa paljon. Haluamme koko Pohjolan mukaan yhteiseen keskusteluun sivistyksestä. Aloitamme suunnittelun 4.–6. maaliskuuta.
